The dune villa "Duinroos" is located in the beautiful luxury small-scale recreation park "Duinpark Egmond": a wonderful place for your holiday, all year round.

Enjoy the sun on the lounge sofa on the terrace, or read a book in the shade. Warm up by the fireplace, inside or outside, or relax in the (one person) private sauna, while the children sleep soundly in the rooms with blackout curtains. From the house you walk straight into the dune area of Egmond. Around the terrace there are dunes with marram grass and wild rose so you can sit freely and enjoy the view of the dune lake and the windmill.

For fresh rolls from the warm bakery you only have to walk two minutes. There you will also find a butcher, fish and cheese shop and a supermarket. You don't need your car in this car-free park, where you can park two cars for free in the shared parking area. The park also has a lawn and some playground equipment.

Duinroos has a modern interior and is equipped with all conveniences.

Children aged 0-3 travel free.

Egmond aan den Hoef, like Egmond aan Zee and Egmond-Binnen, is a village in the municipality of Bergen in North Holland and counts just under four thousand residents. It borders the dunes and the Egmondermeer polder, only two kilometres from the beach. The dunes here are lighter and more open, with calcium-rich sand that nurtures different vegetation and numerous pools where toads and salamanders thrive. The area’s dune “sea village” landscape is renowned, and in spring the bulb fields burst into colour.

The surroundings are ideal for walking, cycling, beach days, and relaxed holidays. Highlights include the remains of Slot op den Hoef with its chapel, the bronze statue of Lamoral of Egmont, and the 1923 Catholic church Margarita Maria Alacoque—well worth a visit.
