The Beach and rules

Egmond offers you a beautiful and long beach. Extends to Egmond-Binnen and it of course offers wonderful opportunities to laze in the sun in the summer and you can also take excellent walks. On the beach you will find various options for something to eat and drink in one of the beach pavilions.
TIP!!. In the evenings you can watch the sunset from the terrace.

Beach rules
The most important rules in short:
the beach is divided into zones which are indicated on the beach itself by the colour of the beach pole:
• activity beaches (orange)
• sunny beaches (yellow)
• a nude recreational beach (pink).
This way you can find exactly what goes where and enjoy your holiday or day out to the fullest.

In summer (May 1 to October 1), dogs on a leash are allowed on the activity beaches. On the other beaches before 10 a.m. and after 7 p.m.

The municipality of Bergen provides special beach wheelchairs that you can borrow for free. This beach wheelchair, “the Jutter”, has special air tracks that make it easy to move in the sand. In Egmond aan Zee, beachcombers are available at Nautilus aan Zee (0031 72 506 4195) and Bad Egmond (0031 72 506 4426).

You can read more information in the municipality's brochure.
