Our warmly furnished holiday home with every convenience sits in a quiet neighborhood just 50 meters from the beach, with the famous Van Speijk lighthouse literally around the corner. A three-minute walk takes you to the charming center of Egmond aan Zee.
Enter through a small hallway with the bathroom to the right. A separate laundry area with compact washing machine and storage cupboard is also here. To the left you reach the cozy living room and kitchen.
The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, refrigerator, four-burner gas hob, coffee maker, kettle, sandwich press, toaster, and combi microwave. The living room offers a generous seating area, dining table, flatscreen TV, and views of the terrace and quiet street. Naturally, wireless internet is available.
A wide staircase with handrail leads to the first-floor landing where you will find two separate bedrooms, each with twin box-spring beds. Two travel cots can be provided on request, and wardrobes are available for your clothing.
The entire home has Wi-Fi. A private parking space is included. The terrace in front of the house is furnished with comfortable chairs and a table for enjoying the fresh air.
Rates
Prices are per week (Saturday 14:00 to Saturday 10:00).
Low season EUR 370.00
Mid-season EUR 520.00
High season EUR 735.00
During school holidays a supplement of EUR 60 per week applies to the low and mid-season rates.
All prices include gas, water, electricity, wireless internet, dune passes, parking for one car, bed linen, and towels.
The following mandatory charges are excluded:
Tourist tax EUR 1.90 per person per night
Final cleaning one-time EUR 65.00
Holiday home De Kneet can also be booked for shorter stays. If the house is still available within three weeks of arrival, weekend and midweek bookings are possible. Contact us by email or phone for availability and conditions. We hope to welcome you for an unforgettable stay at De Kneet.
If you need to cancel your stay, we are of course sorry we cannot welcome you. The following cancellation terms apply; please claim any costs with your travel insurance.

Egmond aan Zee
Egmond aan Zee sits within the municipality of Bergen in North Holland. The village began life as a fishing community, but tourism has surged since the early twentieth century. Families love its sweeping eight-kilometre sandy beach, and the town buzzes with restaurants, beach pavilions, and shops that open daily year-round. A standout annual highlight is the Egmond Half Marathon.
The Jan van Speyk lighthouse is a striking landmark, and nearby you can visit the Slotkapel, the castle ruins, and the abbey. Egmond offers ample opportunities for walking, swimming, surfing, and sailing, so there is always something to enjoy.
